Every trip is built around what you want to fish, not pulled from a fixed list. Tell us your dates and priorities — we’ll design the itinerary around them.
We don’t sell pre-packaged tours off a shelf. Every trip starts with three questions — then we build around your answers.
This matters more in Costa Rica than most destinations, because the fishery is so varied. A trip built around jungle tarpon looks nothing like one built around Pacific roosterfish or a freshwater machaca run — and most anglers who come here want to combine two or three in a single visit. A fixed package can’t flex for that. A custom one can.
1 DAY
A focused day on one species, one location. Ideal for adding fishing to a broader Costa Rica trip, or testing the water before committing to more days.
MULTI-DAY
Several days concentrated on one target — typically tarpon at Barra del Colorado or a jungle reserve, where more days meaningfully improves your odds.
COMBO
The most requested trip: freshwater and saltwater in the same visit, moving between regions — machaca or tarpon inland, roosterfish on the Pacific.
FULL LODGE
Multiple days built around a single lodge, with fishing, meals and logistics handled as one itinerary — the most hands-off option.

There’s no single number that applies to every trip — these are the variables that actually move the cost.
As a general guideline, guided day trips typically cost around $500 per angler, and multi-day packages with accommodations increase in price depending on the season and group size. The only way to get an exact price is to let us know your dates and priorities.
Ready for a real number, not a price list? Share your dates, target species, and group size — we'll reply with a day-by-day itinerary and a quote built for you.
