Fishing in Flamingo is productive year-round, but understanding the seasons will help you target your dream species. For Inshore Fly Fishing, the waters are excellent all year, though clarity is best from May to December. If you are chasing Offshore Sailfish, the peak season runs from December to April, when the blue water pushes closer to the coast. All our trips depart from the world-class Marina Flamingo, providing the quickest access to the Pacific’s most productive waters. Each charter includes professional gear, drinks, and snacks.

Half Day Fishing (4 hours)

A focused, high-energy session. We stay Inshore, targeting Roosterfish, Jacks, and Trevally. It’s the perfect way to get your fishing fix and be back at the Marina for lunch or an afternoon at the beach.

3/4 Day Fishing (7 hours)

It offers enough time to explore various coastal hotspots or try a “near-offshore” session without spending the whole day at sea. Perfect for a deep dive into the Guanacaste coast.

Full Day Fishing (8 hours)

 The ultimate experience. Ideal for going Offshore in search of Sailfish and Mahi-Mahi, or reaching the most secluded inshore spots for trophy Roosterfish.

All our tours depart from the Marina Flamingo in Guanacaste. Once your booking is confirmed, we'll provide the exact dock number and GPS coordinates. We're conveniently located for guests staying in Las Catalinas, Conchal, and Tamarindo.

Yes. You can easily purchase your license online at the official INCOPESCA website. We recommend doing this a day before the trip to ensure everything is ready for departure from Marina Flamingo.

Our charters are all-inclusive. We provide top-of-the-line fishing gear (fly or terminal tackle), fresh bait, lures, and a professional crew. On the boat, you'll find plenty of water, sodas, beer, and fresh fruit. For Full Day and 3/4 Day trips, we also provide a delicious lunch.

We strictly practice Catch and Release for all billfish (Marlin and Sailfish) and Roosterfish to ensure the sustainability of our waters. However, if you catch an edible species like Mahi-Mahi, Tuna, or Snapper, we're happy to clean and fillet it for you to enjoy at a local restaurant.
